The role
We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Library Assistant to join the Programs and Outreach team at Stanton Library, to support the delivery of a diverse, innovative and inclusive schedule of library programs and outreach activities for all ages.
You will assist in the administration, on-the-day set-up and delivery of a range of events and activities for the North Sydney community and support with the delivery of core children’s and youth programs and school engagement activities.
The person
You are an enthusiastic and customer-focused team player who enjoys creating engaging experiences for the community, along with experience supporting events, programs or community activities.
You have excellent communication skills, strong digital literacy, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service and are confident managing multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Whether coordinating event logistics, supporting children’s and youth programs, or assisting library customers, you bring a positive attitude, initiative and a commitment to making the library a welcoming and vibrant place for people of all ages.

Hourly rate from: $35.06 to $41.76 per hour + transport allowance + 12% superannuation
