The role
A rare opportunity for an experienced and dynamic library professional to join the leadership team at Stanton Library. Oversee the development and delivery of diverse, innovative and inclusive library programs, outreach activities and community partnerships.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, responsible for the Children’s and Youth and Programs team, while shaping high profile programs including the Writers @ Stanton author talk program, the Don Bank Museum Writing residency and a range of partnerships and groups.
The person
You are an inspiring and strategic library leader with a passion for creating meaningful community experiences through programs, partnerships and outreach. A skilled people manager and relationship builder, you have a proven ability to lead teams, deliver innovative projects and develop services that respond to the evolving needs of diverse communities.
You bring strong communication, stakeholder engagement and organisational skills, along with the confidence to build partnerships across community, cultural, educational and government sectors. Driven by continuous improvement and a commitment to accessibility and inclusion, you thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by the opportunity to strengthen community connections and position the library as a vibrant hub for learning, creativity and engagement.

Salary range from: $118,429 to $141,415 per annum + $1,000 pa transport allowance + 12% superannuation
35 hours per week with access to Flexi time
