The role
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced and people-focused Librarian to join the dedicated Library Experience team at Stanton Library.
As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of rostered staff in providing superior customer service to our community across the full range of Library opening hours.
Rostered shifts will be the following:
- Mondays 4pm to 8:15pm
- Tuesdays 4pm to 8:15pm
- Wednesdays 8:45am to 1pm
- Saturdays 9:45am to 1:30pm
The person
You are a confident and customer-focused library professional who thrives in a fast-paced public service environment.
With strong reference and information service skills, you enjoy helping customers access resources, navigate technology and make the most of library services.
You are a natural problem solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling complex enquiries and resolving issues with professionalism and empathy.
As a supportive team member and role model, you are comfortable providing guidance to colleagues, coordinating operations during busy shifts and ensuring a welcoming, safe and inclusive experience for every library visitor.

Hourly rate from: $47.01 to $56.13 per hour + transport allowance + 12% superannuation
