Your new role

We’re on the lookout for a dynamic and proactive Rostering Coordinator to join our team full-time in Flemington. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the vital link between our management team, frontline staff, and clients, ensuring smooth and efficient rostering that supports continuity of care.

 

Whether you’re an experienced scheduler or someone with transferable skills from aged care, disability support, nursing, or recreation, if you’re ready for a change and love solving puzzles, we want to hear from you!

 

Please note: Wintringham is currently undergoing a change management consultation process in accordance with Wintringham Collective Agreement 2024-2028. As part of this process, it is proposed that the title of this role will be updated to Rostering and Allocations Officer to better reflect the scope and responsibilities of the position. This change is subject to final consultation outcomes and will be communicated accordingly during the recruitment and selection process.

 

Your duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to staff sick calls and coordinating coverage with Case Managers
  • Communicating roster changes to staff and clients
  • Managing weekly rosters and covering ad hoc leave
  • Ensuring client appointments and meal deliveries are staffed
  • Proactively planning workforce needs to maintain seamless care
  • Maintaining and distributing rosters with accuracy and confidentiality

 

What we will require from you:

  • Strong computer skills and confidence with digital tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and prioritise effectively
  • A collaborative spirit and resilience in challenging situations
  • Experience in rostering or scheduling (preferred but not essential)
  • Background in health, aged care, disability, or homelessness sectors
  • Understanding of aged care community services and frameworks
