About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Tow Truck Operator to join our operations team working alongside our Service Delivery Managers you’ll be reporting directly to our State Manager.

Additionally the role will require you to act as a mentor to our new and existing Tow Truck Operators once they have completed training. 

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Facilitate training packages to new TTOs.
  • Retraining and upskilling existing TTOs
  • Promoting and enforcing safe work practices
  • Investigating and resolving complaints and incidents 
  • Preparing vehicle damage reports when needed
  • Managing licensing and inductions for trucks and TTOs
  • Liaising with customers where necessary
  • On the road resources including mentoring current TTOs

About you:

We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Tow Truck Driver to deliver outstanding customer service skills, a positive attitude, and an excellent work ethic. You will also have the ability to mentor new and existing Tow Truck operators on completion of their training.

Skills & experience

  • Tow truck driving experience.
  • Demonstrated safety experience.
  • A strong background in mature learning principles and the ability to tailor training to trainee needs
  • Experience facilitating one-on-one or group training programs.
  • Innovative thinking and ability to problem solve passion.
  • Flexible and able to work autonomously.
  • Self-motivated to achieve training outcomes.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

Licenses required or willing to obtain:

  • HR or HC
  • NSW TTDC
  • Forklift
  • Elevated work platform
