About the role:
We are currently in search for are committed, dedicated, motivated, and passionate individual to be part of our sunshine Impound facility.
The role will require coordinating the efficient and safe movement of all vehicles, plant, equipment and machinery to ensure they are accepted, stored, recorded, released and disposed of correctly in line with the relevant contractual, company and legislative requirements. You will also be responsible for coordinating with law enforcement, tow truck drivers, and vehicle owners.
Additionally, the role involves:
- Coordinate the impoundment process according to company policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate the efficient, damage free and safe movement of all vehicles, plant and equipment and ensure they are maintained in an organised manner.
- Ensure the Impound is kept clean, secure and safe at all times.
- Accurately and correctly record and communicate all vehicles, plant & equipment that arrive at the Sunshine Impound
- Liaise with all customers including TTOs, Police, Councils, Authorities, members of the public and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
- Facilitate the release of impounded vehicles to authorized individuals or entities, ensuring all necessary paperwork and payments are completed.
- Address any issues or disputes related to impounded vehicles promptly and effectively.
- Build rapport with key customers and assist with any queries or requests in line with company policies and procedures.
- Dispose of all vehicles correctly in line with the relevant contractual, company and legislative requirements
- Disposal of vehicles in accordance with Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act under Part 4.2 of the Australian Consumer Law and Fair-Trading Act 2012, Local Government Act 1989 - Schedule 11, Road Management Act 2004 (or most current legislation in place of this)
- Prepare for and coordinate public auctions and maximise results for the company and customers.
