About the role:
We are currently looking for a passionate and committed People & Culture Advisor to support our fast-paced business. Reporting directly to our P&C Business Partner you will be responsible for providing generalist P&C support, advice, and guidance in all HR related matters. This will be 6–8-month Part -Time fixed term assignment based at our Noble Park head office.
The role involves:
Providing generalist HR support and advice.
Engaging and coaching managers on all matters relating to the employee and contractor life cycle.
Performing a range of general HR administrative activities including record management, ensuring all tasks are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
Supporting managers when required with the coordination of performance management issues, including but not limited to disciplinary action, terminations, and contractor management.
Continuously engaging stakeholders to identify opportunities for improving and streamlining HR documentation and processes.
Interpreting legal instruments including awards, Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, and relevant legislation
Accurate data analysis and provision of meaningful reporting and insights.
Participating in and supporting various HR related audits and projects as required.
Skills & experience
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualification in a HR related field (completed or studying)
1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
Demonstrated experience in providing sound HR advice in line with legal instruments including awards collective agreements and relevant legislations.
Superior attention to detail
Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
Collaborative team player
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Intermediate Ms Office skills
