We are currently in search of dedicated Dispatch Assistant's to join our team at our head office in Noble Park.

 

This role offers:

  • Full-Time 
  • Shift start time between12:00PM-3:00PM and finish times between 8:00PM- 11:00PM, with alternating weekend work 
  • Hybrid model - flexible working from home arrangement

About the Role:

As a Dispatch Assistant, you will play a pivotal role as the primary point of contact for our valued customers. Your responsibilities will encompass initiating new bookings and modifying existing ones. Your professionalism, efficiency, and effectiveness will be crucial as you handle customer inquiries, provide quotes, and manage job bookings. This role requires exceptional communication skills, commitment to superior customer service, and adeptness at multitasking.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage a high volume of incoming phone calls.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skill when attending to incoming inquiries.
  • Offer customer assistance and provide regular updates on estimated time of arrivals (ETAs)
  • Efficiently address and resolve customer inquiries, provide accurate quotes, and facilitate job bookings.
  • Handle and resolve customer queries, provide accurate quotes, and facilitate job bookings.
  • Timely address email communications pertaining to job bookings and quotation requests.
  • Demonstrate proficient negotiation skills to effectively secure job bookings.
  • Commitment to meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), accompanied by proactive initiative and resourcefulness.

 

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the transport industry.
  • The ability to foster strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  •  Technological proficiency and a quick grasp of new programs.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with diverse customer profiles.
  • The capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize within a high-pressure environment.
  • Sound judgment, precision, and critical thinking ability.
  • Drive to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coupled with initiative and resourcefulness.
  • Adaptability and a collaborative approach to team-based support roles.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and adept time management.
