About the Role
As a Process Coordinator – Inloading, you will be at the heart of our coal unloading operations at the RG Tanna Coal Terminal (RGTCT). Your primary accountability is to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective coordination of day-to-day unloading activities to meet operational targets and customer expectations.
You will also play a pivotal role in process control, identifying improvement opportunities, supporting plant fault analysis, and providing shift-based reporting and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and coordinate plant operations to achieve unloading targets and minimise delays.
- Lead and guide operators to meet shift performance goals.
- Monitor plant performance, conduct fault analysis, and raise maintenance requests where needed.
- Provide timely reporting and maintain compliance with quality assurance and environmental standards.
- Collaborate closely with the Outloading Process Coordinator and Resource Coordinator to ensure efficient terminal performance.
- Uphold GPC’s values and model positive safety leadership.

Technical & Operational Expertise
- In-depth understanding of coal unloading processes, coal types, stockpile management, and the broader coal supply chain.
- Experience operating site plant and equipment with strong fault-identification capabilities.
- Familiarity with operational systems and a willingness to adapt to evolving technologies.
Leadership & Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to lead and motivate operational teams.
- Clear communication and strong problem-solving skills.

Mandatory Requirements
- Certification meeting GPC Production Classification Structure Operator Level 4 (or equivalent).
- Current C-Class Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to obtain or hold a valid Maritime Security Identification Card (MSIC).
