We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Director of Fundraising and Marketing to join our team and drive our strategic growth.

About the role

Reporting to the CEO, the Director Fundraising and Marketing position is a key strategic role and pivotal to the future growth of Vinnies and its ability to succeed in its mission and vision.

The Director of Fundraising and Marketing will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisation’s comprehensive marketing, fundraising, and philanthropic strategies in alignment with its strategic goals. This includes creating and executing a marketing and communications strategy that fosters strong brand awareness and engagement.

The successful applicant will also lead a small team that works closely with internal and external stakeholders to build long-term strategic relationships, while delivering operational and business partner support to Directorates across the Society.

About You

  • You will have relevant tertiary qualifications with significant demonstrated experience in a similar role or extensive proven commensurate experience in a similar senior leadership position.
  • With a proven background and understanding of how philanthropy and charitable giving contributes to a better society and brings about lasting social change.
  • You will be a values based senior leader who inspires and engages with people at all levels with the proven ability to work collaboratively as part of an executive team, providing valued advice and representing the organisation with diverse stakeholder groups.  

 Our Offer

  • Generous salary package: a minimum salary of $161,000 per annum plus 14.5% superannuation ($23,345 annually).
  • Salary packaging options: up to $15,900 per FBT year, plus an additional Meals and Entertainment package up to $2,650 per FBT year.
