Your new role
As a People & Culture (P&C) Advisor, you will be a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing friendly, consistent, and professional support. This role is well suited to recent graduates or early‑career professionals looking to expand their experience across the full employee lifecycle.
Reporting to an experienced P&C Partner, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, workforce planning, and change management initiatives. You’ll also play an important role in ensuring our people systems are accurate, compliant, and continuously improving.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Building collaborative, trusted relationships with employees and managers as a supportive P&C contact
- Delivering seamless recruitment, onboarding, and retention processes in partnership with the P&C Partner
- Providing first-level support and advice on people policies and matters
- Administering people systems, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Contributing to P&C projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking someone who is for someone early in their people and culture career and is motivated, proactive, and eager to learn. You will bring:
You might be:
- A recent graduate in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline,
or
- Someone with 1–2 years’ experience in a HR administrator, officer or advisor role, supporting the full employee lifecycle
You’ll also bring:
- A genuine interest in people, workplace culture, and employee relations
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to build relationships at all levels
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail
- A proactive mindset and willingness to ask questions and learn
- An adaptable, team‑focused approach — comfortable working in a fast‑paced operational environment
- A car license and reliable transport to travel across Melbourne and regional Victoria.
