About the role

This is the next step up for a logical and solution focused information management professional to liaise with internal stakeholders on requirements and provide training on the functionality of our new Tech 1 ECM system. 

The successful applicants will be pivotal in helping internal customers integrate information management within their production processes.

We are seeking someone able to understand structures and functionalities of document management systems such as TRIM or TechnologyOne ECM and able to ensure recordkeeping requirements for government agencies.

Initially 12 month contract

Salary

  • $69,244 p.a. to $77,622 p.a. + super 
  • 1 rostered day off per month 

Key duties

  • Provide expert advice on information management systems design and integration
  • Facilitate the adoption / maintenance of universal standards for functional classification / description of business information across various collections of information managed within Council
  • Promote consistent data entry practices for business information systems and various business production processes that they support throughout Council 

Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications

  • Relevant tertiary education equal to or greater than a Certificate III in Business or information related discipline and relevant on the job experience 
  • Knowledge of better practice resources and the statutory frameworks governing document and records management and information management more broadly
  • Practical understanding of relational database management concepts
