The Opportunity:

We are excited to announce we currently seeking Production and Packing Operators to join our team at a brand-new, state-of-the-art industrial bakery opening in early 2026 in Nambeelup, WA (12km from Mandurah and 60 km South of Perth).

Working Hours:  5 days per week, Monday to Sunday. Day shift with flexible start and finish times, and availability for overtime or weekend work when required. 

Full training will be provided to successful candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, and a genuine interest in developing a long-term career in the bakery industry with our organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Duties:

• Set up and inspect machinery to ensure smooth start-up and continuous operation.
• Monitor and adjust equipment components for proper alignment and performance.
• Weigh and add ingredients to mixers, following production schedules.
• Operate mixing machinery safely and efficiently, performing routine safety checks.
• Conduct regular line inspections to identify and address food safety or quality risks.
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments to maintain specifications.

Packing Duties:

• Operate packing equipment to ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products.
• Inspect finished goods for quality, correct labelling, and presentation.
• Ensure packaging materials are stocked and used correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the packing area in line with food safety standards.

General Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Ensure OHS standards and procedures are maintained at all times.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

We are looking for self-driven individuals who are reliable, have a great work ethic and a genuine interest in building a long-term career in the industry.

To thrive in this role, you will also bring:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the food industry - highly regarded but not essential.
• Level of physical fitness and resilience; able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Effective communication – written and oral.
• Strong safety awareness and commitment to following all health, safety and food safety procedures.
• Quick learner.
• Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative.
• Ability to work tight timescales and under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
