About Role:
We have a great opportunity for a full time Production Operator to join our muffin line within our VIC Operations. The Production Operator will be responsible for the support of production and packaging for all muffin line related products.
Available Shift
Afternoon shift - Muffin Line start time 10:30am
Key Responsibilities
• Sets up & inspects machinery to ensure efficient start up and smooth operation
• Competent in operating key machinery including mixers, dividers, griddle and weighing up etc.
• Checks and adjust various parts for proper alignment, rotation, dough consistency etc.
• Weighs and adds proper amount of ingredients to mixer at appropriate times.
• Familiar with proper operation of mixing machinery and safety checks.
• Understands scheduling.
• Ensure product quality is always within specification and make adjustments to achieve highest quality within specified parameters.
• Conduct routine line inspections to address potential food safety and quality risks/concerns.
• May be required to assist in the packing area on a similar shift for multiskilling and labour shortages on an irregular basis.
About you
• Qualified machine operator or Minimum 1-5 years of Food Manufacturing experience.
• Level of physical fitness and resilience; able to lift 15 kg.
• Effective communication, reporting issues as they arise to Team Leaders
• Understanding and application of all safety procedures
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent mathematical and numerical capability
• Punctual, reliable & willing to continue developing
• Good product knowledge
• Ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative as part of a team.
• Ability to work tight timescales and under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.
