The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a self-driven QA Officer to join our Frozen Bakery Operations team based in Liverpool NSW.
Reporting to the QA Manager - Frozen, you will play a crucial role in developing, planning, and executing in-plant quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with ARYZTA's quality specifications, standards, legislative requirements, and customer expectations.
This is a Full-Time on-site permanent position, working Monday to Friday between 10am and 6pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to quality specifications from raw materials to finished products.
- Conduct continuous audits of processes, control checks, and quality systems, providing daily reports of findings.
- Maintain comprehensive and easily accessible quality assurance records.
- Assist in developing and maintaining quality specifications and standards for raw materials, production processes, and finished products.
- Conduct product shelf-life, evaluation, environmental testing, and laboratory tests.
- Provide ongoing training for employees on product quality, customer satisfaction, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Ensure compliance with new and existing product processes and associated Quality Assurance requirements.
- Conduct complaint and internal non-conformance investigations.
- Uphold compliance with ARYZTA Quality Policy, Food Safety, and Product Quality Procedures.
About You:
We are looking for a proactive QA professional who is customer-focused, a commitment to accountability, and has the ability to build effective relationships at all levels.
To thrive in this role, you will bring:
- A Degree in Food Science or a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience of working successfully with a Quality Management System and team environment.
- High performer with good time management and organizational abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills and ability to communicate with influence.
- Proficient skills in the MS Office suite.
- Previous experience in a similar Quality Assurance role within the food industry is highly desirable.
