About the role:
Working on a part-time basis (37.5 hours per week), you will be:
- Assisting the Head Chef in the planning and execution of daily kitchen operations
- Managing all aspects of the kitchen, including waste, inventory and ordering
- Overseeing the preparation and execution of our residents Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menus.
About you:
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification
- At least 3 years’ experience post-qualification
- Experience as a Sous Chef, Demi Chef and/or experience in aged care or healthcare environment highly regarded
- Exceptional knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- A passion for delivering quality dining experiences
