About the role:

We are currently seeking permanent part-time and casual cleaning, laundry and dining staff.

We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in the following roles:

• Dining Service Champion
• Cleaners
• Laundry Assistants
• Kitchen Assistants

We have both casual and permanent part-time positions available.

Dining Service Champion

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents
• Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness in dining areas
• Assist our residents with special dietary requirements
• Provide friendly and attentive service to residents

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings

Cleaners

We are looking for dedicated Cleaners to join our team at Rockpool Residential Aged Care Morayfield. As a Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in resident rooms and common areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Dispose of waste and recyclables appropriately
• Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are well-maintained
• Follow cleaning schedules and procedures

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not required)
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends

Laundry Assistants

Join our team as a Laundry Assistant at Rockpool Residential Aged Care Morayfield. In this role, you will support the laundry team in ensuring residents' clothing and linen are clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute residents' clothing and linen
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry room
• Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies
• Follow laundry procedures and safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous laundry experience (preferred but not required)
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends

Kitchen Assistants

We are seeking Kitchen Assistants to join our team at Rockpool Residential Aged Care Morayfield. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will assist the kitchen team with food preparation and service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils
• Assist with inventory management and stock rotation
• Follow food safety and hygiene guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience (preferred but not required)
• Food safety certification (preferred but not required)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and evenings

About you:

• Prior experience in kitchen operations, catering, cleaning, laundry, or maintenance within the aged care industry is highly desirable.
• Strong commitment to providing exceptional service to residents with empathy and respect.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Flexibility in work hours and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
