Your new role
We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Food Services Manager to lead our Food & Nutrition team across multiple residential aged care homes. This strategic role oversees operations from our Central Production Unit, ensuring nutritious, appealing meals are delivered with care and respect.
Your responsibilities and duties will include the below:
- Lead a consumer-focused food service that reflects Wintringham’s values of dignity and choice.
 - Oversee cook-chill production, menu planning, and compliance with IDDSI and food safety standards.
 - Engage residents in menu design and dining experience improvements.
 - Manage budgets, procurement, and supplier relationships.
 - Supervise and support staff, fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
 - Drive continuous improvement through audits, training, and stakeholder engagement.
 - Provide input on kitchen design and equipment planning.
 
We are looking for candidates with the following:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a multi-site food service leadership role.
 - Accredited Food Supervisor certification and cookery/catering qualifications.
 - Strong financial, organisational, and communication skills.
 - Proven ability in consumer engagement, staff supervision, and training delivery.
 - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
 - Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
