About the Role:

Our Darwin branch are looking for a Workshop Technician to be based in our Darwin Branch.

This varied role will see you working on world class John Deere equipment predominately in the workshop; we are keen to chat candidates that have prior experience of performing basic & complex diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery.

There is an opportunity to work on:

  • Tractors
  • Combine Harvesters
  • Sprayers
  • Cotton pickers

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

  • Mechanical Trade Certificate
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems
  • Previous experience of engine overhauls and major repairs including electrical, hydraulic and diagnostic skills.
  • A current and valid driver’s licence
  • Strong customer service focus and dedicated work ethic.
  • A mature attitude and logical and methodical approach to your work which will enable you to work through problems in both a workshop and field environment.
  • Possession of high-risk work tickets and/or licenses would be highly regarded
