We are currently seeking an experienced Yardperson / Storeperson to join our team in our Biloela branch.
This individual will manage and control the movement of inward and outward equipment and machinery. In addition, the individual will ensure the yard, workshop and stores area is safe, clean, and presentable.
The key responsibilities of this role will include but not limited to:
- Performing outward control of all machines ensuring where required the machines are securely packed for transport including using the internal systems to ‘traffic’ the machine.
- Performing inward control of all machines (wholegoods and attachments) including unloading containers and receipting in stock.
- Organise the yard and the showroom to accommodate the display of equipment ensuring all machines are securely stored and presented).
- Assist with priority parts deliveries where required and support the wider service and stores team.
- Ensure all stock is accounted for and correctly reported in the company computer system in accordance with company policy and site rules
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:
- Forklift Licence
- Strong organisational skills.
- Strong team working skills with the ability to think on your feet
- Strong computer skills including knowledge of stock control systems
- Have mechanical aptitude and understand how a busy and productive mechanical workshops operates
