Role Overview

As a Residential Care Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their daily needs while contributing to a safe, nurturing, and person-centred care environment. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and external professionals to ensure the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

This is a Full Time opportunity with a Salary of $77,000 per annum + Superannuation.

We are also offering sponsorship opportunities for the right candidate in NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents
• Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meals, and routines
• Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and emotional wellbeing
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to care plans and risk assessments
• Safeguard residents in line with organisational policies and procedures
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive residential environment

Requirements

• A caring, patient, and professional approach
• Previous experience in a residential or care setting
• Relevant care qualifications – Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins (if required)
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of residents
