About the Role

We have a current opportunity to join our team at Sunshine Park Aged Care in Lesmurdie WA. This position is available on a temporary contract basis for 6 months in a Full-time capacity working Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and maintains staff rosters, including management of planned and unplanned leave.
  • Assists the Facility Manager to ensure the facility is staffed at an appropriate level. This includes assisting with the recruitment of new staff and induction process. 
  • Ensures staff training bookings are made and communicated, and that staff training documentation is maintained.
  • Answering telephone enquiries.
  • Maintains files, documentation & archives.
  • Efficient operation of the reception, meeting & greeting clients and visitors, arranging appointments for residents.
  • Manages administrative aspects of resident admissions and discharges, including applications and wait lists, in conjunction with Support Services.
  • Maintains inventory levels, including consumable supplies, sufficient to meet the care needs of residents and within budget levels.
  • Maintain & monitor office equipment, order equipment consumables.
  • Receive, sort and manage mail deliveries and other documents.

Essential Skills, Attributes and Experience:

  • Previous experience with rostering and scheduling (Desirable).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organised and presentable.
  • Have a can-do attitude and a team player.
  • Ability to multi-task and have attention to detail.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Bright and friendly demeanour with willingness to assist with all resident, client and visitor enquiries.
