About the Role  

The role of our Wait Staff is to provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to our valued customers at Lotus by Roshana. The Wait Staffs responsibilities include not only greeting and serving customers but also providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties, performing well in fast paced environments and creating various high-quality beverages. You will also be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

  • Deliver consistent high quality customer service to both internal and external customers to the prescribed service standards.
  • Creating and serving various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers.
  • High understanding of customer requests and needs.
  • Providing our customers with detailed information on various wines, beers, spirits and the restaurant’s menu.
  • Performing duties front of house and behind the bar when required.

Desirable Skills, Attributes and Experience 

  • A minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in similar roles.
  • Great customer service experience.
  • Must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
  • Experienced in Barista and Bar skills.
  • Must have exceptional knowledge relating to beverages and menus.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to perform under a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety systems.
  • Ability to prioritise and complete tasks on time. 
  • Ability to work within a team environment.
