About the Role  

The role of our Food & Beverage Supervisor is to provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to our valued customers at Lotus by Roshana. The Food & Beverage Supervisor will also be required to communicate and delegate tasks to the team to ensure restaurant targets are achieved. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Supervise Food and Beverage operations at Lotus by Roshana.
• Communicate and delegate tasks to the restaurant team.
• Ensure compliance of brand standards.
• Represent needs of the team.
• Providing our customers with detailed information on various wines, beers, spirits and the restaurant’s menu.
• Manage customer queries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Provide Food & Beverage training and development to team members.
• Monitoring and ordering of supplies beverages, disposables, cleaning products and miscellaneous items.
• Stock rotation and stock control of all products including alcoholic beverages.
• Comply with facility security and all health and safety legislation.

Desirable Skills, Attributes and Experience 

• A minimum of 3 year’s demonstrated experience in similar roles.
• Great customer service experience.
• Must hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate (RSA).
• Experienced in Barista and Bar skills.
• Must hold a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
• A degree in hospitality management or relevant is desirable.
• Previous experience in managing and leading a team.
• Previous experience in training staff.
• Must have exceptional knowledge relating to beverages and menus.
• Sound written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to perform under a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent planning, organising and time management skills.
• Knowledge of food safety systems.
• Ability to prioritise and complete tasks on time.
