About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and creative Interior Designer to join our team at Roshana Care Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing warm, non-clinical, yet safe and efficient environments for our facilities and related properties. This role involves creating spaces that empower mobility, reduce dependence on staff, and foster a sense of community among residents.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Space Planning: Design functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces that optimize workflow and support resident care.
• Patient-Centered Design: Create environments that promote healing, comfort, and independence for residents.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet safety, infection control, and accessibility standards.
• Materials Selection: Choose materials and furnishings that are durable, easy to clean, and meet design aesthetics.
• Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals and project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Skills, Attributes and Experience:

• Experience: Proven experience in interior design, preferably in healthcare or aged care settings.
• Skills: Proficiency in design software, excellent communication skills, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Travel: Willingness to travel nationally for project assignments.
