 Role Overview: Operations Manager (Grandton Roshana Care)

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our 26-suite Aged Care Facility and oversee Private and Home Care Services within the independent apartments at Grandton Applecross. The Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest quality, person-centred care and operational excellence across all services, consistently exceeding industry standards.

This role is supported by on-site clinical, allied health, and administration teams, with additional leadership and guidance from our head office in Burswood.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall facility operations, ensuring a strong person-centred approach.
  • Implement and drive strategic local initiatives in alignment with organisational goals.
  • Foster positive, collaborative relationships with residents, families, and staff.
  • Oversee staff performance, professional development, and daily operational workflows.
  • Ensure effective management of operational, financial, and risk processes.
  • Maintain strict compliance with relevant Quality Standards and best practices.
  • Promote and implement continuous improvement and quality assurance initiatives.

 

Essential Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven management and operational experience in aged care and/or home care settings.
  • Registered Nurse with unrestricted AHPRA Registration (desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedicated commitment to person-centred care.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of ACQSC standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
  • High proficiency in IT applications and sound financial management principles.
