The Opportunity


Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their company in Melbourne, VIC with the potential to earn up to $90,000 per annum Package | Negotiable on Experience Including Superannuation & Car Allowance.

The primary purpose of this position is to obtain profitable results from both showroom and on the road sales.

Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager some of your responsibilities include:


  • Managing key accounts, generating sales and growing the client base
  • Liaising with clients and suppliers for selection and specification
  • Issuing samples, catalogues and quotes to clients
  • Following up on unrealised quotes and orders
  • Attending product knowledge sessions with suppliers and team members
To be successful in this role you will have 3+ years commercial sales experience preferably within a luxury retail or wholesale environment. Additionally, experience building relationships, specifically with interior designers and architects is essential. You must also have a moderate level of computer literacy and experience with CRM systems would be highly desirable.

The ideal candidate will be a great team player, enthusiastic and have strong interpersonal skills. You must also be highly organised and have strong attention to detail.
