About The Opportunity

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating and participating in the preparation of high-quality, tasty, homestyle meals
• Ensuring meals are always presented well
• Confirm that each resident's dietary requirements are strictly adhered to
• Make sure the kitchen is cleaned thoroughly after each service
• Confirming that appropriate documentation is maintained as per food safety plan
• Purchase and ordering of stock
• Complying with strict hygiene and food safety standards specific for Aged Care

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Completed a Food Safety Program or agree to undertake one upon employment
• Minimum one-year experience in catering for large numbers
• English proficiency as a working language
• Experience in a wide range of cooking

You will also have:

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery
• Food Handling and Hygiene Certificate
• Previous experience working in catering in a residential aged care facility
