About The Opportunity

Our client is on the lookout for a Property Co-ordinator to work closely with the Property Team Leader to coordinate and deliver excellent outcomes across the property functions of Girl Guiding NZ. This is a fully remote role but it would be advantageous for the successful candidate to live in Christchurch as the portfolio will include Wellington and South Island properties.

This role is integral in managing the operational administration of facilities across New Zealand, ensuring that they are well-used and supported by the surrounding communities that they serve. Working across New Zealand with the wider team across the country, you will contribute towards helping girls and young women to grow into confident and responsible leaders who make positive contributions to their communities and the world around them.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing support and assistance for Facilities Co-ordinators in the day-to-day management of Guiding properties 
  • Undertake the day-to-day management of Guiding properties where there are no Facilities Co-ordinators appointed
  • Co-ordinating the procurement and booking of hire and storage facilities
  • Contributing to the management of non-property assets and equipment (vehicles, trailers and outdoor equipment)
  • Assisting the Property and Legal Advisor with all the logistic requirements for the property rationalisation programme

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant experience in the day-to-day management of property or facilities in a similar role
  • Sound knowledge of Facilities Management, buildings, maintenance and property-related matters
  • Full clean and current New Zealand driver's licence
  • Strong problem-solving and analysis skills
  • Strong personal prioritisation and time management skills
