About The Company
Our client is a leading supplier specialising in powertrain components for the mining and material handling industries. They are known for providing unparalleled support and expertise in maintaining and Rebuilding OEM components for Heavy Diesel i.e. Sandvik, Normet, Epiroc, Cat and Volvo.
About The Opportunity
As a Mechanical/Diesel Fitter you will have a Dual role Workshop and Field, Based in Mount Isa.
Workshop responsibilities include Strip/ Assess/ qualify and rebuild powertrain components i.e. Axles/ Diffs/ Brakes/ Up and Drop Box/ Transmissions.
Field works will include RNR of Components/ Fault Diagnoses/ General machine maintenance typical in Field repairs i.e. Brake change/ Wheel hub/ planetary change repairs.
This is NOT a FIFO role.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualification in a Mechanical Trade, Ideally Mechanical Fitter/ Heavy Diesel
- Any Mechanical Trade qualified encouraged to apply
- Ability to pass Drug and Alcohol screening
- Must Hold or obtain Current National Police Check
You will also have:
