About The Opportunity

The service department provides high-level service and comprehensive preventative maintenance contracts to residential, commercial, and industrial properties throughout Melbourne and surrounding suburbs.

As the Service Manager you will work closely with the business owners, with a supportive administration team, and a team of service technicians and apprentices.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Delegating and directing service tasks to ensure team objectives are met
• Handling customer complaints professionally to maintain good relationships
• Providing technical advice and problem-solving to service technicians
• Maintaining industry knowledge and ensuring adherence to regulations

This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced Service Manager.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Proven experience in same or similar role (Mechanical background)
• Strong industry knowledge in air conditioning and refrigeration
• Computer literacy, organisational skills, and problem-solving abilities

You will also have:

• Sales-minded attitude and excellent leadership skills
• Experience managing staff and fostering their skill development
• Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with staff and customers
