About The Opportunity

Joining the team as an Associate in Medical Negligence, you will have the chance to work closely with the Lead of the Medical Negligence practice and manage your own caseload focusing on medical and health negligence cases. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with solicitors, barristers, and experts
• Preparing documentation for legal counsel and experts
• Attending court, mediations, and settlement conferences
• Creating informative content for the firm’s marketing collateral
• Managing court preparation and cases for hearings and settlements
• Contributing to the firm's knowledge base and efficiency improvements

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor of Law or similar qualification with 3+ years PAE
• Experience in personal injury or medical negligence claims
• Strong written communication and analytical skills
• High-level advocacy and interpersonal skills

You will also have:

• Confidence and willingness to promote the practice via various networks
• Knowledge of LEAP practice management software (Desirable)
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
