About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Junior Field Resource to support our clients growing Western Australian team. Reporting to the State Manager, you will develop and deliver a diverse range of soil and groundwater projects within Australia and potentially New Zealand. The successful candidate will ideally live around the Perth / Fremantle area but they would consider someone living in a regional location with the correct set-up. 

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Undertake environment site assessments and remediation programs on contaminated and rehabilitation sites
  • Execute field activities including supervision of subcontractors, drilling programs and installation of groundwater monitoring wells, groundwater and surface water sampling and site inspections
  • Undertake groundwater investigations including, monitoring well installation, pump tests and hydraulic tests as your expertise/training allows
  • Compilation and interpretation of data with senior mentoring support
  • Provide support to proposals, reports and deliverables under senior review
  • Provide safety leadership in identifying and alleviating/eliminating safety hazards

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2+ years of fieldwork experience with a focus on contaminated land and rehabilitation
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology, Hydrology, Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mining) Geotechnical or equivalent 
  • A proven track record of maintaining positive relationships
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
