Our client is a small business dedicated to providing excellent outcomes for their clients. They prioritize building and nurturing long-term relationships and mainly work with other small businesses to provide an all-around accounting service. 

About The Opportunity

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Work alongside and support a range of small businesses
• Offer regular support to clients including face to face tax returns
• Prepare BAS statements, financial statements and tax returns
• Advise clients on their accounting enquiries in a professional manner 
• Assist and train new team members
• Be an all-rounder in a small team, providing other support as needed

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• 3+ years of experience in Tax Accounting
• A Degree in Accounting 
• CA/CPA certification (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients
• Excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Xero / Xero Practice Manager 
• Experience using FYI, Account Kit and Figured (desirable)
• A down to earth personality with a sense of humour is essential!
