About The Opportunity

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be an integral part of the Finance and Corporate Services team, supporting esteemed scientific professionals and project managers. Your responsibilities will include:

• Reconciliation of financial accounts
• End-to-end accounts payable processing
• Managing the accounts inbox and financial data
• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports
• Ordering office supplies and coordinating staff amenities
• Providing administrative support to the CEO and project managers
• Handling general enquiries via email and phone
• Managing office maintenance and assets

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A Diploma of Accounting or similar qualification
• 1-2 years of experience in Accounts Payable and Reconciliation
• A proactive approach to work and the ability to work autonomously

You will also have:

• Prior experience in Office Management (desirable)
• The ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
