About The Company

Our client is a leading supplier of engineered power transmission products in Australia. Specialising in providing gearmotors and conveyor drive systems for heavy industries such as mining, quarrying, metal working, cement and port handling with an emphasis
on high dependability.

About The Opportunity

As the Draftsperson, you will play a crucial role in the success of engineering projects by:

• Developing detailed drawings and models for engineering projects from concept to manufacturing
• Ensuring timely completion of drawings in compliance with standards
• Collaborating with various teams to meet project goals
• Preparing bills of material and material take-offs

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in an engineering/drafting role
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, NX, Solidworks, PDM & Microsoft suites
• Ability to develop drawings and models from start to finish 
• Knowledge of mechanical design & steel fabrication
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Formal qualification in drafting
