About The Company
Our client, a leading provider of Design, Tooling & Precision Engineering services for over 30 years, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their team in Acacia Ridge, QLD. Specialising in one-off and small batch production for demanding customers in the pharmaceutical and food processing industries, this company offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.
About The Opportunity
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Working on one-off and small batch projects for pharmaceutical and food-processing industries
- Setting up and operating CNC vertical machining centres to produce precision parts
- Ensuring parts are produced to the required specifications
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist, Fitter Machinist, or Toolmaker
- Recognised trade qualification in machining, fitter machining, or toolmaking
- Self-starter with a passion for producing quality parts
You will also have:
- Experience with Fanuc control and Mastercam (preferred but not required)
- Experience with CNC turning is highly regarded
