About The Company
Our client is a family-owned Australian company founded over 38 years ago. They specialize in the design and manufacture of quality, high-performance bulk materials handling equipment for the agricultural, industrial, and manufacturing industries. In addition to their extensive range of standard equipment, they custom design and manufacture equipment.

About The Opportunity
This role has many facets which will ensure you feel challenged yet rewarded daily. It would suit someone who is technically minded and experienced in mechanical or manufacturing fields. Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Specify and source technical and mechanical components
- Work with manufacturing, engineering, and sales departments
- Manage inventory control and develop systems
- Liaise with suppliers using your resourcefulness to explore national and international channels and establish competitive pricing
- General administration tasks e.g. prepare quotations, invoices, schedules and job tracking
- This significant position reports directly to the General Manager.
About You
The successful candidate will have a trades or engineering background who is:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and is technically minded
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Good customer and supplier communication and negotiation skills
- Competent with Microsoft office including Excel, Word etc
- Ability to prioritise projects and deadlines
