About The Opportunity

We are seeking a Trainee Chemist to join our client's team with a long-term goal of transitioning into customer service and technical sales. The successful candidate will undergo training in their Dandenong South Laboratory and will accompany local sales representatives on customer visits. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field while developing technical knowledge and customer relationship skills.

• Assist in laboratory experiments and analyses
• Support local sales representatives during customer visits
• Gain knowledge of the Aluminium and Coatings industries
• Participate in training sessions to learn about our products and services
• Contribute to the development of customer relationships and technical support

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A willingness to travel for customer visits as needed
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• A background in chemistry or part qualifications in a related field
• A passion for the chemicals industry and a desire to grow within the company
