Our client is a dedicated landscape construction business located in Killcare, NSW, specialising in delivering high-quality landscaping solutions across the Central Coast and expanding into Sydney. About The Opportunity
As a Landscape Construction Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Ordering supplies and managing inventory
- Setting project plans and timelines for successful execution
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Conducting morning huddles to align the team on daily tasks
- Leading and managing a team of 5, including 3 landscapers and 2 apprentices
- Discussing plans with the owner, landscaping architects, subcontractors, and homeowners
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A Certificate III in Construction Landscaping
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in landscape construction
- A proactive, organised approach with the ability to take initiative
- A forward-thinking mindset that contributes positively to team dynamics
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
You will also have:
- Experience in liaising with various stakeholders including clients and suppliers
- A manual driver’s licence and a Class C driver's licence (for operating bobcats and excavators)
