About The Opportunity
As an AFS Installer, based in Christchurch, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of premium construction products.
Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and organise the site as directed, and ensure it’s ready for material delivery
- Follow the shop drawings and survey mark-outs to lay track out prior to wall installation
- Ensure that the walls are clearly and accurately set out and align to the shop drawings
- Apply appropriate fixtures and sealants according to the manufacturer’s standards
- Ensure materials are delivered and installed according to the plan and shop drawings
- Keep the site clean, tidy, and organised; handle tools and equipment responsibly
- Follow all health and safety guidelines, wear PPE, and report hazards or incidents
- Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- AFS Installation experience (desirable)
- Experience with Carpentry or Concrete/Formwork or Steel placement (desirable)
- A clear communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to read building plans
- A current NZ full driver’s license and the ability to pass a medical and drug test
- A high level of physical fitness and be able to cope with a physically demanding workload

- Strong time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Critical thinking skills to assess situations and determine the best course of action
- A proven record in being reliable and demonstrating a practical approach
