About The Opportunity
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Producing new CAM programs for production-scale machining.
- Maintaining a clean and well-organised work area and machinery.
- Keeping accurate records of production processes and materials utilised.
- Checking work at each production stage to guarantee accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
- Setting up and operating CNC horizontal mills and lathes to produce parts that meet precise specifications.
- Monitoring machine operation to detect defects and making necessary adjustments to ensure product quality.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to use measuring equipment accurately.
- Experience in reading and fabricating parts from 2D drawings.
- At least 5 years of experience in CNC machining or a related field.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- A motivated mindset, with the ability to think outside the box to solve problems.
- The physical capability to lift 20kg safely, along with the ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday.
