About The Opportunity

In this role, you will assist in delivering a range of technical and support services to our customers utilising our client's advanced technology products, including Feeding, Video, Digital, and AI systems. Your primary goal will be to maximise equipment uptime and ensure effective processes, enabling our customers to achieve their production targets and optimise fish performance.

Some of your other responsibilities include:

• Ensure effective handling of all processes
• Deliver technical support and services for AKVA technology products
• Collaborate closely with customers in a hands-on manner

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• Technical qualifications and skills in Instrumentation and Process Control, Networking/Data, Wireless Technology, Electrical Automation, Solar and ELV power solutions, and Camera/Monitoring systems
• A Restricted Electrical license (preferred)
• Boat and/or forklift operating certifications (beneficial)
• A strong interest in technology and fieldwork
• Ability to work outdoors and in moderate sea states

You will also have:

• Experience on aquaculture sites and familiarity with the feeding and biological processes (asset)
• Knowledge of Central Feed Systems and Video System control, as well as Server Rack Setup (definite asset)
• A commitment to travel to customer sites within Tasmania and Australasia, and occasionally abroad
