About The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Casual Defect Inspector to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in their commitment to delivering exceptional defect management services for off-the-plan residential projects.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive defect inspections as required, utilising the designated inspection platform.
• Accurately recording and tracking inspection details to ensure consistency and clarity.
• Understanding and adhering to each project’s specific inspection requirements and benchmarks for workmanship.
• Additional responsibilities may vary based on your assigned position within the team.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid construction induction card (white card) and a current driver’s license.
• Experience in inspecting off-the-plan residential properties or construction.
• Familiarity with inspection platforms such as Aconex Field or Procore.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the capability to engage constructively with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel interstate as needed.

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality in your inspections.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients.
