About The Opportunity
They are looking for a highly motivated Sales Support Specialist to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Business Development Manager, this role is crucial in strengthening relationships with clients, expanding market presence, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in managing relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers.
- Identifying customer needs and presenting our polished concrete solutions effectively.
- Supporting the Business Development Manager in executing sales strategies.
- Developing tailored proposals and assisting with technical case studies and product specifications.
- Maintaining accurate records in our CRM system to track leads and sales pipeline.
- Working closely with cross-functional teams, including operations and marketing.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- 3-5+ years of experience in business development or sales roles with a hunter mind set
- Experience within construction, industrial products, or coatings markets
- Proven track record in new market development and sales negotiation
- Excellent relationship-building and networking skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify technical concepts
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools
You will also have:
- Experience in developing long-term sales strategies
- Resilience and problem-solving abilities to navigate market challenges
- An entrepreneurial spirit with a self-starter mentality and goal-oriented approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Existing relationships in the architectural, construction, industrial, or commercial sectors in New Zealand (preferred)
