About The Opportunity

As the Business Development and Sales Co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in managing retail operations and expanding our market reach. Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients across the South and North Islands.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and conducting sales presentations.
  • Negotiating contracts and closing deals with potential clients.
  • Providing training to clients on optimising their grinding systems with MDT products.
  • Managing a small team and motivating them for optimal performance.
  • Handling logistics related to sales, including order processing and inventory management.
  • Utilising Cin7 and Xero software for effective inventory and financial management.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales targets through the development of strategic sales plans.
  • Executing monthly marketing campaigns to enhance brand presence.
  • Driving business development efforts to expand into supermarket chains and other markets.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track record in sales and customer service
  • Experience within construction, industrial products, or coatings markets (desirable)
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales management tools
