About The Opportunity
As the Clinical Lead for Behaviour Support, you will act as the second-in-command for your region, working closely under the Regional Manager.
Some of your primary responsibilities will include:
- Onboarding new staff and facilitating their training and development
- Implementing strategies for conflict management and relationship building
- Providing clinical and operational supervision to team members in your region
- Engaging with families, carers, and community members to support individuals with complex needs
- Leading the Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) team, ensuring adherence to service delivery targets
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- A relevant Allied Health degree with a minimum of 3 years experience as a behaviour practitioner
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, emphasising trust-building and confidentiality
- A DCSI Working with Children Check (WWCC), NDIS Workers Check, and current RRHAN-EC Certificate
- A demonstrated ability to support team members in meeting service delivery targets within a billable hour framework
- Expertise in Positive Behaviour Support and familiarity with the NDIS Positive Behaviour Support Capability Framework
- An understanding of the DHS Restrictive Practises guidelines and experience working with individuals exhibiting behaviours of concern
