About the Role
As a Contracts & Procurement Specialist, you will be pivotal in supporting the full lifecycle of contract management and procurement activities. Your role ensures that contracts are crafted, executed, and managed with precision—optimising performance and reducing risk across high-stakes projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with regulations and contract obligations
- Advise procurement teams on contract terms and negotiation strategy
- Evaluate supplier proposals and monitor contractor performance
- Lead negotiations on pricing, deliverables, and timelines
- Resolve contractual issues with a pragmatic, solution-focused mindset
About You
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in contracts and procurement
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proven ability to assess and manage contract risks effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Familiarity with procurement regulations and contractual compliance
- A proactive, analytical and detail-oriented approach
Please note: This role requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Only Australian citizens or permanent residents are eligible. Prior experience within government or defence environments is highly regarded.
