About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to provide effective and efficient administrative support to governance groups and operational activities. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining systems, processes, and relationships across the organisation to ensure smooth operations.

Reporting directly to the Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive, some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing a high standard of minute-taking, document preparation, and presentation capabilities
  • Coordinating and participating in assigned projects, including travel logistics for staff and volunteers
  • Managing general enquiries professionally, including monitoring inboxes and handling calls
  • Supporting governance functions by preparing agendas, minutes, and board documentation
  • Assisting in international communications, risk management, and compliance-related tasks
  • Providing administrative support to the Board Chair, including calendar and inbox management
  • Supporting the Annual National Forum event and associated governance processes
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures and reporting processes

About You 

The successful candidate will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in an office environment
  • Proven administration or personal assistant experience at an intermediate level
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite (advanced preferred)
  • Experience with BoardPro (desirable)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality and discretion

  • A strong work ethic and be enthusiastic and self-motivated
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Adaptability to be able to work in a changing and busy environment
