About The Opportunity
As an Industrial Spray Painter, you will play a vital role in preparing and painting metal conveyor components and other steel work to precise specifications. Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Taking responsibility for all surface preparation to ensure surfaces are ready for painting
- Maintaining the spray booth and spray painting equipment through regular maintenance
- Scheduling your workload based on priorities communicated by the Production Manager
- Applying high-quality coatings to new, industry-leading equipment
- Working across other roles in the production workshop as necessary
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience working with steel and in industrial spray painting
- Expertise in surface preparation for painting
- Thorough knowledge of the operation and maintenance of spray painting equipment
- A keen attention to detail and ability to paint to required specifications
- The capability to work independently while managing responsibilities
- A solid understanding of safe work procedures
- Excellent work ethic and reliability
- Availability and willingness to work overtime when required
- A willingness to assist in various roles within the production workshop as needed
You will also have:
- A Manual Driver's License
- A Forklift License (desirable)
